I have many passions and interests in my life, but photography always seems to come back to me. I consider images to be of great value. They are the first thing people mention when they suffer tragedies like fire or flood in their home. Photos are the most cherished item for any elderly person you meet. After the wedding day is over. After the kids grow up. After all is said and done. The one thing we have to keep the memories of our most precious moments alive are photographs. As a lifestyle photographer I capture those memories, which might make my job one of the best on the planet!
I was a theater/music major in college when I began my career in photography. I worked evenings at a senior portrait studio as a secretary. The owner saw potential in me and brought me back into the studio as a film photographer. I was hooked. I then assisted a good friend of mine for two weddings...and never looked back. That was in 2002. Eleven years later, I am still in love with wedding and lifestyle photography. I have photographed hundreds of weddings and have been featured in local, regional and national magazines. Style Me Pretty, The Knot, Our State North Carolina, Southern Weddings, On To Baby and Unveiled Magazine are only a few of the publishers I've been blessed to work with.
