I recently flew out to Michigan for Katy and Rob's engagement session.  I had the best time with these two lovebirds.  Every once in a while, a couple comes along and we just connect.  I love working with all my clients, but this couple...I don't know...I kinda feel like we've been friends for decades.  They are both so warm and friendly.  I adore the way they love each other.  I'm already looking forward to flying back for their wedding next year.

Katy and Rob - you are the absolute best!  Thanks for flying me down to your home state for pictures and lunch!

I received a few copies of the summer 2014 issue of Inspire Weddings and Marriage Magazine in the mail the other day and I was BLOWN AWAY when I opened the pages of this beautiful issue.  It was filled cover to cover with some of the most lovely weddings, engagements, and heartwarming stories from brides and grooms.  I heart this magazine!  If you haven't picked up a copy yet, make sure to find it at a local Barnes & Nobles, southern grocery store, or order it online here.  I am seriously in love with the concept of this magazine - to inspire beautiful weddings and prepare couples for a successful marriage.  YES!

I couldn't believe the length of the features while flipping through the pages.  There are over twenty pages in this issue with my photos on them.  Thank you so much Stephanie and the rest of the amazing staff at Inspire Weddings and Marriage Magazine.  It is an honor to work with you all.

Sigrid + Bart . Bald Head Island North Carolina Wedding Photographer

Sigrid and Bart could be two of the sweetest people on the planet.  They came all the way out to Bald Head Island, North Carolina, for pictures in freezing rain!  It was quite the adventure, spinning around in a golf cart, freezing our fingers and toes off, and catching up since their wedding a few years ago in Florida.  Sigrid's generous spirit could melt any heart.  It can only be matched by the way Bart treats her - like a queen.  She totally deserves it.  I am always so happy to see former clients still in love and as happy as ever.

Lindsay + Kevin . Boston Massachusetts Engagement Photography

Lindsay and Kevin are true Bostonians.  They live in the city, got engaged at Castle Island, and frequent the Seaport.  Kevin is also one of Boston's amazing fire fighters.  He is the epitome of the tag phrase "Boston Strong" in my opinion.  They are a fun couple with Kevin's sarcastic sense of humor and Lindsay's sweet but assertive personality.  I had a fantastic time getting to know this Boston couple during their engagement session.  We started the day at the spot where he proposed and took a short tour around the castle from there.

We finished the evening at the Seaport, walking around to some of Lindsay's favorite areas there.  I feel so fortunate to photograph these beautiful couples and locations in Boston. Everywhere we turned was prettier than the last.

Did I mention that Lindsay looked killer in her blue lace dress?  She is going to be one gorgeous bride.

Thank you so much, Lindsay and Kevin, for walking around your beautiful city for some images that I hope you'll cherish for years to come.  I had a great time with you and am counting the days until your wedding!
