North Carolina Family Photographer

It has been a busy few months here at Rachel Red Photography!  Editing albums, booking weddings, setting up editorial shoots for magazines...the work never seems to end.  It's good, rewarding, happy work though and I feel so blessed to have it!  I fell a bit behind on blogging so I thought I'd catch up in one big, beautiful post.  Get ready for some smiling faces and happy people!  Here are some highlights from a recent trip I made to Charlotte, North Carolina.  (I'll be traveling to the Carolinas again very soon, so book your session now before my time gets swallowed up!)

First up, the Nunn Family.  I don't know how I get the cutest kids on the planet for photo shoots, but it seems to happen!  Look at this little boy's chubby cheeks and curly hair!

The Bisheit Family wanted care-free giggly family photos and that is exactly what they got.  These two girls were a joy to work with.

When my best friend, April, said she wanted a few family photos I could not refuse.  It helps that her boys are super handsome. I love this family so deeply.

The Highfield Family wins for most stylish!  I loved everything about their session.

Freedom House Church asked for staff/intern photos so I took a morning off to volunteer.  Is it a prerequisite that you have to be gorgeous to work there or something?  Totally joking, of course, but there are some beautiful people for sure.

The Keener Family met met at Lake Norman for their second family session with Rachel Red Photography.  I remember Lilly as a newborn.  You can see her on my website's front page in a basket with a gray chevron stripe on the wall.

Tracie and her husband, Derwin, needed head shots as well as a few photos of them as a married couple.  I love how vibrant and fun these turned out!

Back in New England, I had the pleasure of photographing the Grosswiler kids.

Then I did a lovely engagement session at a local university where this very much in love couple met.

And then of course there's Bella.  She just turned ten (double digits!) and makes me laugh every time I see her.  The second picture is her "daddy can I have something expensive, puhlease?" look.  It works so well already. haha
