This Chinese Tea Ceremony would have been enough to make it a special day.  Add the grandeur of the Lyman Estate in Waltham, Massachusetts and a fun-loving, sweet couple like this one and you've got a wedding to remember.

It's tradition to play a few games before the tea ceremony in this culture.  The groom wants to take the bride with him, but first he must pass a few tests.  It's sweet and hilarious and so so much fun!

The tea ceremony took place in the library.  Members of each side of the family sat down for tea with the couple, gave their blessing, and presented a gift.  I loved seeing this tradition unfold.  It's a symbol of unity and makes everyone feel as if they are becoming one family.

I have no idea how these girls managed to take the groomsmen's shoes while we were photographing the couple, but I couldn't resist getting a quick snapshot.  What a fun wedding party!
